Max Verstappen won the 2023 Spanish Grand Prix, his seventh victory of the season. The Red Bull driver dominated the race from start to finish, leading every lap.
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc finished second, despite starting from pole position. Sergio Perez completed the podium for Red Bull.
The race was marked by a number of incidents, including a first-lap crash between George Russell and Fernando Alonso. The safety car was deployed twice, on laps 1 and 4.
Verstappen's victory extends his lead in the drivers' championship to 26 points over Leclerc. Red Bull also leads the constructors' championship, with 235 points to Ferrari's 169.
